Any teen girl Halloween costume ideas?

I’m not sure what to be for Halloween, I’ve had a few ideas like some sort of pixie or a witch but I can’t really figure out what to be. I’m 13, I want it to be cute but not over the top, and I’d prefer to put it together myself, as full costumes that you buy are too expensive and aren’t usually that great, but I’m not completely opposed to them, or even just looking at them to base mine off of. So, any ideas? I’d really like some help!

    hmm well a fairy is always cute all u really need to buy are the wings (or you can get cardboard, put glue on it and simply paste the fake feathers on there (some feathers are sold even at the dollar store :P )) and for the outfit simple need a cute little black skirt, whatever color shirt (tanktop or tshirt doesnt matter unless youre set on a certain fairy ex: aqua fairy) and then jsut wear some black flats and thats it :D

    bee, lady bird- can usually get them dirt cheap at claire stores.

    Maybe Trinity from The Matrix movie trilogy? You can buy the sunglasses at http://www.matrixeyewear.com and the rest of the costume would consist of a long black overcoat, black skirt & shirt, and black boots.
