Blind Melon is the artist and “No Rain” is the song. The lead singer, Shannon Hoon (his sister was friends with Axl Rose), dies of a cocaine overdose 10/21/95 and is buried in his hometown of Dayton, Indiana. e was buried in his favorite T-shirt which simply said “AMSTERDAM” and was barefoot.
The remaining band members tried to make a go of the band for several years after that, but on on March 4, 1999 it was announced on the official web site that the band had split up and gone their separate ways.
The “bee girl”, Heather DeLoach, continued to pursue acting and has been in such films as Fran Drescher vehicle “The Beautician and The Beast”. Her most recent role has been on T.V. doing two episodes of “E.R.” in 2003.
