fancy dress ideas? the theme is 'the world of film'?
I need something that will be original and that will maybe surprise people. There’ll be about 200 people at this party, so it has to be something that other people are unlikely to think of.

You could go as a superhero like Spiderman, Batman, the Joker? That would be pretty cool with the make up and purple suit
If you wear just a tux you could be safe and say you were different characters, depending on who is who at the party such as: 007, don Vito corleone with a red rose in your pocket, or just any guy in a suit. You could also try something out of an older film noir and go as a gangster. You know with the pinstriped suits and the hats, something out of Zoot Suit.
