For a costume party would you dress up as the opposite sex?

I have a costume party to go to next month and some friends have suggested that we all go dressed as the opposite sex, men dress as women and women dress as men. Have you ever done it or would you do it? If so what did you wear or would you wear, one of my friends wants me to wear one of her really short dresses and high heels and do my make up, I am not sure whether to do it!

    I have done it a long time ago.

    If you can fit into your girl friend clothes, it will be ok. For the heels, you need to practice.

    Been there. Did that. Looked a LOT like my older brother (minus the mustache!)

    As for men dressing up as women, look no farther than British comedy (Benny Hill, for instance, or, more funnily, the Python crew).
    Don’t wear high heels — unless you want to break your ankle…or worse!

    .. My best friends 21st birthday was ‘famous couple’ themed ..
    .. Her and I were ‘coupled’ as Bonnie and Clyde ..
    .. I was Clyde lol .. And it was fun ..
    .. Later on in the night, she became Samson from Samson and Delilah .. And the guy who was Samson became my Bonnie lol .. It was awesome :) ..
    .. You should so do it .. Just once .. It won’t hurt none ;) ..
    .. Well, maybe the heels might hurt you a little lol .. But it’s only for a night ..

    Yeah, sure, that would be fun! :)

    ..I’d just wear an oversized men’s sweater, super-baggy jeans, no makeup, etc. I’d wear my hair in a ponytail, and maybe wear a cap on top of it as well, in order to cover it up.

    But I’d probably end up looking like a gay dude. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that..) XD ..I mean, seriously, how many straight guys do YOU know of who have pink hair? I guess they *exist*. But they must be pretty rare. Plus, I have pretty feminine glasses as well, and I really *need* those to see.. :-P
