Funny and scary Halloween costume ideas?

I’m looking for some ideas for a halloween costume, Something that’s both funny and scary/gory. It also needs to be something that’s easy to get together, I don’t want to do a LOT of sewing, but i’m willing to do some. Also, I’m willing to go out and buy things, I just need ideas, my creative juices are running dry.

    these ideas aren’t scary or gory but they are kinda funny.
    Peter pan ( i mean really.. you get to run around in tights all day. ha-ha
    or Blue the Bear from the Jungle book.
