@CarmenIF Gelatin is very inexpensive for the amount of product that you get, and most of the other materials can be purchased at the dollar store. We carry gelatin cubes in five colors on out website.

If it can easily be peeled off your skin, will it stay on for very long? Or will it start to peel off after a while.

@AngelofMusic101 It will peel off eventually, but it will stay on for several hours at least. Gelatin is pretty sticky, so it works as its own adhesive.

@instantmonsters But to make sure it doesn’t start to peel, should I add liquid latex?

@AngelofMusic101 Gelatin sticks better than liquid latex, but you can use it if you want.

I’m a belly dancer that is performing at a local comic convention. I’m going as Two Face. I tend to have oily skin and sweat when I dance. Plus, I’m planning to have the makeup on for over 6hrs. Would gelatin be sufficient and stay on, or should I go with the liquid latex and toilet paper route? Thanks!!!

@Yay3reika The gelatin is very sticky and should hold up for that long, but It’s hard to say with oily skin. If edges come loose you can tack them back down with Spirit Gum or Pros Aide, which you would also have to do if the latex comes loose. Either way you should be prepared to do some touch-ups over the course of the day.
