why is this video popular with people over the age of 40 ??? thats what i wanted to know. i thought it was for little girls , primarily >
@BenTennison16
‘Cause we’re craaaaaazy, duuuuuuuude!
I figured you were male judging by your username, so I went to your channel and it turns out that you are a grown male. Granted, you’re younger than half my age for the time being, but you’re still a grown male. Why are you watching this?
I don’t think anyone needs a reason for liking things out of their age range. Plus, older fans are usually also fans of the 1980s Strawberry Shortcake and often now have daughters of their own.
@MsSourGrapes well…i understand where you’re coming from. but you’re wrong about the “grown man” part. I may be 22 but i love cartoons and anime and kiddy stuff. you see as a teenager i developed way later than many of my peers. even my voice hadnt changed till i was about 15 and half so….
And yes…I’m looking forward to watching this stuff with my own kids (when I have them of course)
@BenTennison16
I was only a couple of years younger than you when the original ’80s specials ceased production, and reruns and toys and such continued to be popular when I was your age. I don’t think little kids realized they weren’t watching anything new, since the episodes aired only a couple of times per year.
Anyway, my brother and I laugh about looking like we were only tall 8th graders in our senior high school photos. When I was legally a grown woman, I at first only looked 14.
@BenTennison16
When I was in college, I remember making some remark about using the same backpack I had used since age 13.
“Yeah, and now you’re 14 and you still use it!”
Definitely a late bloomer myself, ya see.
I’m not really sure what my point is now with this conversation, by the way. I have always had a wide variety of interests that cover pretty much all age groups, though.
@BenTennison16
Although I guess I should mention that I was in college at 16, so if I looked 14 then, that wouldn’t have been that unusual, but I don’t remember what year that comment was made in.
Apologies for spamming this video!
May I get the words?thanks a lot!
